Now United Nation has certified it.In India,the hunger level of the poor population has reached pre 1990 figures.So much of Good Governance of current regime beating chest for the common man in every elections,that in 2009 the poverty index grew by 7 %.Even before the food and financial crisis hit the world,India instead of decreasing has increased the nation's pverty ridden people; taking the nation further away from the millenium development goal of reducing the numbers by half by 2015.It indicates that no progress had been made in reducing hunger levels in India.The employment to population ratio has fell from 55 % to 48% in last 3 years.The proportion of employed people living under $ 1.25 has jumped sharply from 44 to 51%.This report says that aggregate food availability was relatively good in India in 2008-2009.But higher food prices and reduced employment and income meant that the Indian poor had lesser access & means to the food available.The number of under nourished people has seen a sharp jump to 21 %.
Then the big question ? This purported & claiming governance for Common Man administration has not only fared miserably in providing two square meals;but has failed them where it hurts most...the stomach.So the big hurry to term each & every poor of India as Maoist naxal terrorist.
Can we do some thing to alleviate the suffering ?

Provided we,the well off joined hands to ensure deliverance of two meals to those, who need, deserve it.
The only solution seems to vote-in BJP, bring Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India.
